I had a beautiful cross country ski today in the sun. Snow was smooth, trails were one again perfectly groomed and the scenery was amazing. I went solo in the early afternoon then picked the kids up from school with a backpack of yummy snacks, including some of their favorite Lefse snacks and cookies. We hit the less traveled trails by one of the beautiful snow covered lakes at the top of the island. They were in a goofy mood which made for a really fun adventure. I sure do hope the sun is here to stay awhile!
